Virtual Lisianthus Christmas Show
Inspired by Wham's classic song 'Last Christmas' Lisianthus has proved it is perfect for the festive season.
In a special photoshoot, coordinated by leading Dutch PR company 2Dezign, run by well-known marketeers Rudi Tuinman & Pascal Koeleman, four leading floral designers set to work with the Lisianthus to produce a truly spectacular Christmas Show on behalf of the Lisianthus breeder and grower group who host the gorgeous Lisianthus ... the special flower website.
The four leading floral designers, Hanneke Frankema, Geertje Stienstra, Tiffany van Lenten and Tineke Geerlings were given free rein to work with Lisianthus in a range of five colour palettes varying from traditional Christmas red and white to bold trendy shades such as dark blue and the new nude tones.
And the designs were equally varied! Mega large designs met small and delicate, hanging creations nudged table toppers and when it came to the look's these ranged from romantic to classic, contemporary to hip and trendy. In short, plenty of inspiration for all target groups and age groups.
Once known as a summer flower Lisianthus is now - thanks to extensive breeding and growing improvements - produced all year round. And it's not just availability that has improved. Flowers shapes range from single to double and some oh so gorgeous fringed varieties, the colour palette is huge and of course Lisianthus lasts for ages and is perfect for any design.
