Two Mary's and a new look at Spring Fair 2020

Diverse, relevant, exciting - Spring Fair, 2 – 6 February at the NEC, Birmingham, is the definitive marketplace for the home and gift industry.

And for 2020 they’ve kicked it up a notch to help you find new suppliers and product inspiration with over 2,500 exhibitors showcasing their wares.  Add in a mix of seminars and key note speakers as well as a whole range of sub sections including a dedicated arena covering sustainability and it’s easy to see why more than 50,000 retailers head for Birmingham.

This year the key note speakers are two of the most famous Mary’s in the world.

Courtesy of Captivate Brands, Mary Berry, the ‘Queen of Cakes’, will be speaking on the
Inspiring Retail Stage in Hall 6 on Monday, 3rd February at 13:00. One of the UK’s best loved cooks and television presenters Mary will present a candid and memorable talk about what inspires her to continue to create. After almost 60 years of teaching the nation to cook through television and selling millions of cook books, its fair to say she has earned her title as the ‘queen of cakes’.

Join Ashley Armstrong, Retail Editor for the Times, as she talks to Mary about how following her passion for cooking has opened doors and surprising opportunities, how she has coped with the challenges of juggling family and her career over the years, and how she is now merging her passions by getting creative and developing her own product lines by taking inspiration from her own garden.

On Tuesday 4th February Mary Portas takes to the stage. A retail expert, business woman and 'Queen of Shops' – Mary is a woman on a mission. Her latest book Work Like A Woman: a manifesto for change, draws on Mary’s decades of business experience and outlines how we must all play a role in making the world of work a better place, for everyone.
