Loads to see at IPM Essen

It’s probably one of the biggest green shows in the world so allow yourself time and wear comfortable shoes but it should be seen at least once.

With all the big names taking part … like Danziger, Flower Council of Holland, Anthura, Oasis and Chrysal not to mention a whole host of companies you’ve probably never heard of, IPM Essen is truly a one stop shop for all things green.

IPM BOdy Copy shot 1One of the highlights for florists is the international Floristry Show In the Green City in Hall 1A with artists from the Floral Fundamentals Family featuring the work of Laura Leong (UK), Dominique Herold (Germany), Hans Zijlstra (the Netherlands), Timo Bolte (Austria) and Stefan van Berlo (Belgium).

The performers on the FLOOS floristry teaching platform will show how the latest trends which can be translated into contemporary floral design and feature the design talents of Alex Segura (Spain), Johan Obendrauf (Austria), Nicu Bocancea (Romania), Britta Ohlrogge (Germany), Jürgen Herold (Germany), Max Hurtaud (France), Roman Steinhauer (Russia) and Pirjo Koppi (Finland). 

In addition the Flower Battles will go into the third round with the motto "Flowers, Fun & Action". Within just a few minutes, the participants will, live before the audience, have to select their materials and create spontaneous flowery arrangements. The public will decide which candidates will progress until the best ones face each other in the final.

IPM runs from Tuesday 28th to Friday 31st January. Remember it is HUGE so you need to allow plenty of time if you want to see it all. For more information and tickets click here.
