Flower Council of Holland join National Florist Day

In another major step for the project, the Flower Council of Holland (FCH) have come on board to the first National Florist Day as a Premier Patron.

The longest established marketing body for the industry and the people responsible for the high-profile consumer facing brands, Funnyhowflowersdothat and Thejoyofplants, the decision to get involved reflects Flower Council’s wish to get closer to its customer base and support an initiative that ties in closely with its new direction of helping to encourage interest in, and sales of, flowers to new buyers.

Having developed some of the best loved industry campaigns, like Why Wait and Friday is Flower Day, Flower Council have recently gone through both a major restructuring and industry vote to ensure its continued success and are now able to look at projects through to 2027.

Commenting on their involvement in National Florist Day, Communication Manager Gabrielle Dullaart and Country Manager Ron Jeronimus said; “We are working on a pan European project called the Flower Effect; a message directly aimed at consumers on how flowers bring joy as well as health and mental wellbeing benefits.

The plans for National Florist Day fit that messaging perfectly with the added benefit of allowing us to work closely with expert florists; the flower magicians who we know can create an even stronger flower effect with beautifully crafted and totally customised bouquets.”

For Caroline Marshall – Foster, founder, and organiser of National Florist Day, it is a delight to have Flower Council on board.  “Not only am I incredibly flattered that they believe in the project, but I know they will bring much to the table in terms of ideas and inspiration, especially at the consumer end and that their help will be invaluable.”

Flower Council join a long list of fabulous Patrons to whom the organisers are indebted for making the dream of National Florist Day come alive ... it simply couldn't happen without them.
